These Terms of Use apply to your use of Interview Intelligence™, a Buzzqube product. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms.

What Interview Intelligence™ does

Interview Intelligence™ turns interview transcripts and related information into structured, evidence-based interview reports designed to support recruitment teams.

Reports are intended to support, rather than replace, professional judgement. Interview Intelligence™ does not make hiring decisions. The hiring organisation remains responsible for reviewing the report, considering the underlying evidence and making any recruitment decision.

Your responsibilities

When using Interview Intelligence™, you are responsible for:

• ensuring you have an appropriate lawful basis for processing the personal data you submit;
• providing candidates with appropriate information about how their interview data is used, including the use of AI-assisted technology where required;
• checking reports for accuracy and completeness before relying on or sharing them;
• making your own recruitment decisions and applying appropriate human oversight;
• keeping your account credentials secure and not sharing an individual account with other people; and
• only submitting information that you have the right to process.

You should not submit information that is unnecessary for assessing the candidate or generating the report.

Hiring decisions

An Interview Intelligence™ report is an input to your decision, not the decision itself.

Reports are generated from the information provided to the service and may contain errors, omissions or interpretations that require human review.

Interview Intelligence™ is not designed or licensed to make automated decisions about individuals. You must not use a generated report as the sole basis for a hiring decision without appropriate human consideration of the candidate and the underlying evidence.

Buzzqube is not responsible for recruitment or employment decisions made by users of the service.

Your information

You retain responsibility for and ownership of the interview, candidate and other information you submit to Interview Intelligence™.

You give Buzzqube permission to process that information only as necessary to provide and operate the service.

How Interview Intelligence™ handles account information, interview data and generated reports is explained in our Interview Intelligence™ Privacy Notice and Buzzqube Privacy Policy.

Our intellectual property

Interview Intelligence™, including its software, report structure, methodology, prompts, analysis framework, branding and associated content, belongs to Buzzqube or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property law.

Using Interview Intelligence™ does not transfer ownership of that intellectual property to you.

You may use, save and share reports legitimately generated through your account for your own recruitment and business purposes, including sharing reports with clients where your subscription permits this.

You must not copy, reproduce, reverse engineer or use Interview Intelligence™ or its outputs for the purpose of creating or training a competing product or service.

Availability and report retention

We aim to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee that Interview Intelligence™ will always be available or error-free.

Generated reports are held temporarily in the browser used to create them and automatically expire 24 hours after generation. Buzzqube does not retain a recoverable copy.

If you need to retain a report, you are responsible for saving or printing it before it expires.

Subscriptions, payments and report allowances

Access to Interview Intelligence™ may be provided through a subscription, included report allowance or individually purchased reports.

Where a subscription includes a monthly report allowance, the allowance applies to the relevant subscription period. Additional reports may be purchased separately where available.

A report that fails to generate because of a technical failure within Interview Intelligence™ will not be charged against your available allowance or credits.

Prices and applicable taxes will be displayed before purchase.

Cancellation

You may cancel a subscription at any time. Cancellation will take effect at the end of the current paid subscription period unless otherwise stated when you purchase.

Deleting your account is separate from cancelling a subscription and may permanently remove information associated with the account.

Any applicable statutory cancellation or consumer rights are unaffected.

Acceptable use

You must not:

• attempt to circumvent usage, payment or security controls;
• access or attempt to access another user’s account;
• interfere with or disrupt the service;
• reverse engineer or attempt to extract the underlying prompts, methodology or software;
• use the service unlawfully or in a discriminatory manner;
• use the service to make solely automated decisions about candidates; or
• knowingly submit information that you do not have the right to process.

Suspension

We may suspend or restrict access to an account where we reasonably believe these terms have been breached, the service is being misused, payment is overdue, or suspension is necessary to protect Interview Intelligence™, its users or other individuals.

Where reasonably possible, we will explain the reason for suspension.

Liability

Interview Intelligence™ is designed to support professional recruitment decision-making. It does not replace human judgement, provide legal advice or guarantee the accuracy, completeness or suitability of any generated report.

You are responsible for reviewing and verifying each report before relying on it, sharing it with others or using it as part of a recruitment decision. Recruitment and employment decisions remain the responsibility of you and your organisation.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Buzzqube will not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of business, loss of opportunity or loss arising from a recruitment or employment decision made using Interview Intelligence™.

Buzzqube’s total aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with Interview Intelligence™, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty or otherwise, shall not exceed the greater of: (a) £5,000; or (b) the total fees paid by the customer for Interview Intelligence™ during the 12 months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

Changes to the service or these terms

We may update Interview Intelligence™ and these Terms of Use from time to time.

Where we make a material change to these terms, we will notify account holders using the email address associated with their account or through the service.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Scotland, and the Scottish courts will have jurisdiction, subject to any rights that cannot legally be excluded.
